Binding With Funky Findings!

Good morning Zutter friends, Pinky here today with a fun and FUNKY Vacation Mini Album.

It is that time of year for vacations and family outings, I thought I might
as well grab my goodness and craft an album.

I love the Zutter Bind-It-All 2.0 because it easily cuts through and binds
the corrugated kraft paper I found. Since it is paper
I was able to punch both covers at once.

Also you can see through the O-Wires, I threaded some baker's twine through the loops created by the O-Wires.
It added the perfect accent to this colorful mini album! Here's how to create it:
Step 1. Trim out cover 4.5"X6".
Step 2. Set Bind-It- All 2.0 to "C" Cover pages, align covers and punch out holes.
Step 3. Empty out side tray.
Step 4. Trim out as many pages as you need, 4 1/4"X5 3/4".
Step 5. Set Bind-It-All 2.0 to "D" Inner pages, align covers and punch out holes.
Step 6. Trim 1/2" O-Wire to desired length (6).
Step 7. Thread O-Wire through book. Make sure the book covers are facing each other.
Step 8. Turn Binding knob to 1/2" setting.
Step 9. Place book with wires down as shown in photo, gently but firmly squeeze handle closing binding O-Wires.
Step 10. AFTER binding book, take 6 pieces of twine, knot one end,
then thread through O-Wires knot the other end and snip off edges.
Step 11. Embellish Vacation Mini Album- ENJOY!

I won't bore you with every single page, but here are just a few.
You can see the fun stickers and embellishments I added.

I hope you enjoyed this album as much as I did making it!
Until next time~

Cousins Mini Book

Hello All, this is Michelle Gutierrez here today to share with you a mini book I created with my Bind It All.

I love capturing the good times my son Diego has when he is hanging out and having fun with his cousins. Diego is the youngest boy in the family. After him follows4 girls, they were born back to back right after him.

This week I wanted to share with you how I made this adorable mini album with only 3 sheets of chipboard. My Zutter Kutter cuts almost everything. It cuts chipboard, book board, Zutter Canvas Artboard, foam board, stacks of cardstock, leather, and Zutter's Corrugated Cardboard. It makes cutting my thick chipboard very smooth and easy. I cut all 3 sheets to get all 6 - 5"x7" pages size for my album.
For this album I used the Loyal collection line from Authentique Paper. I was able to add 3 D Dots to add dimension to my cut outs on the front cover. I love how my album looks complete by just adding my ribbon to the end of the Owires.

Using the Bind It All makes punching the holes in my album for my Owire's very easy and convenient. It also binds the Owire as well, making it a dual-action machine. How awesome is that?
Here is a close up showing how the perfect the Owires look and fit through the holes.
I love using my Zutter corner rounder. They come in 2 sizes 1/4" or 1/2" round edges. I used the 1/2" to round all the corners for my album.
I love how all my nephew and nieces ham it up for the camera.
I called for their best pose.......this photo cracks me up!
This would have been an awesome picture had Diego not crossed his eyes......LOL

3"X4" Journal

Hello everyone, Nicole here today to share with you an altered journal I made for my sister using my Zutter Bind -It-All, Round-It-All, 3/4" Pink O-Wires and a pack of 3"X4" Clipboard Wood Covers.

One of the things I love the most about using Clipboard Wood is that you can alter it. Initially, I was going to cover the Clipboard Wood with patterned paper, but after I thought about it, I thought the textures in the Clipboard Wood would really shine through the mist. First I used my Round-It-All to punch the top and bottom right side of the Clipboard Wood.
Then, I grabbed some mist and paint to alter the Clipboard Wood and flower.
White the mist and paint was drying, I decied to cut up some old note paper that I had lying around the house to use as my inserts.
After the pages were cut and the Clip-Board Wood was dry, I punched holes through them so that I could bind them together.
Then, I fed the pink 3/4" Owires through the Clip-Board Wood and papers, cut the wire, and binded them together.

Once the journal was binded, I decorated the cover with some beautiful bling, flower and sentimental stamp and I was done. I think this turned out pretty with the pink and green.
Zutter Tools Used:

  • Flower: Zva Creative
  • Mist: Tattered Angels
  • Paint: Tattered Angels

Bind a Jounal

Hi everyone, Nancy here today to share another fun project I made with my Bind- it-All.

Living in Northern California, my husband and I occasionally get the opportunity to try wines (I think the nearest winery is only 7 miles, and one of our favorites is just 15). But keeping them straight; remembering which wines we have had and would like to buy, and which we are not interested in purchasing can be difficult.  I decided to create a small wine journal to save our tasting notes and wine labels.

I chose to use the 7.5x5 Acrylic covers due to their light weight and beautiful translucent properties.  I kept the cover fairly flat as I wanted to be able to toss the journal into my purse if needed.  I really love how you can see the front page of the journal through the cover, showing off the Webster's Pages papers I have had in my stash for quite some time.
I created a little pocket on the first inner page to hold bits of paper for our notes.
Here is one of the labels we saved with the tasting notes next to it.
One-half inch silver 0-Wires hold my journal together nicely.
And of course, I couldn't resist tying some scraps of trim to the o-wires to coordinate with the Webster's Pages papers.  Definitely a favorite technique for me.
Thanks for stopping by the Bind-it-All blog today.

Because You Are Mom

Hi there again! It is Candice Elliott
back with another Zutter Bind-It-All
project for us all. I hope that
everyone had lovely Mothers Day.
Mine was spent with my husband's
family and it was just wonderful
time.

Since I was not able to see my
mother this year I wanted to
make something really special
for her. She had been asking for
pictures of us for a while now.
I wanted to find a way of
showcasing a number of pictures
to her while at the same time
share a few thoughts with her.
I put together a Frame Album and
that is what we are going to be
looking at today!

To create this I simply created a very mini
album using the Clip Board Covers 3x4"
and 1/2" Silver Owire. I adhered the album
to the frame after putting on the Prima paper.

I used lots and lots of layers! Some of
these layers serve a purpose. When opening the
album some of the flowers hold the pages
in place while when shutting the album
does the same. Also if you take a look a
close look at the frayed flowers I used
the scraps from punching to create those flowers.
The little pieces also reminded me of
confetti. Nothing goes to waste with me!

All that I strive to be has a huge part
to do with my mother. The doctors told her
that if she tried having me that either she
would die, I would die, or the both of
us would die. She was in the doctors
office papers signed and all to have me
aborted but could not go through with
it. Well, as you can see they were
wrong. She did not give up. I am so
grateful for that moment in time.

The title mother definitely does not come easy
so I wanted to let her know that I know now!

Finally I wanted let my mother know that
she is a rare rose. The only one of
her kind and that she is loved more
than I can say. I LOVE YOU MOM!!!
Thank you all once again for
allowing me to share!
